The French market was more open to milder tastes with a lighter wrap, which is why the company introduced their Corona cigars with a lighter shaded wrapper. Blended with French tastes in mind, the brand chose a milder taste that they felt would appear best to their target audience. 

All Quai d’Orsay sizes are made with a mild blend of filler and binder leaves from the Vueltam Abajo region and its wrappers are characterised by their light to medium brown colours. All sizes are Tripa Larga, Totalmente a Mano – long filler, totally handmade. Generally, the brand has dry, aromatic, woody flavours. Some blends have a milder flavour that is a little more consistent, your choice of Quai d’Orsay cigar depends on your own personal preference.
