- Kapil 8/17/21If you want the Siglo VI taste then this is the cigar for you. I can't believe I never tired this cigar before. This is what cuban is all about, that smooth creamy coco taste and no spice or peper. This is the lost twin of Cohiba, it even gives that Behike 52 taste as well.

View moreWell! Having tried the Brick House Corona larga I thought I would try a couple of pulls on the Maduro Toro. I have, as I write, only smoked these on a couple of occasions (smoked under totally different circumstances) but my hand now strays and hovers over this box in the humidor. I smoked one on a lovely warm day, sitting by a deserted Cornish sea creek, in the company of an old college friend, with a German wheat beer and a delicious sea food packed lunch. Beer and cigar, then lunch and a swim. Ambience: perfect. Cigar? well that was pretty near perfect too. I love buying the box. These things are always better to share and compare. So we sparked up a couple of sticks and the draw was brilliant. Even burn and good flavour from the start. Sweet and a bit peppery with some rich earthy flavours underneath. The toro has a cool but tasty effect on the palate and, moving into the second third - which seems the de rigueur way to review cigars these days, the flavours didn't alter but they did change in intensity, and by the end the flavours had become rich and sweet. Honey? Caramel? Apricot jam? I have no idea - but it was a fabulous and decadent way to spend the afternoon. If the stars align I will be back there in spades. The second time we smoked these sticks (on a warm but windy evening, after a supper of rabbit fried in onions and a splash of port, while overlooking the sunset over the sea) we had a few more problems with the burn. I put this down to to wind and conditions. This is a remarkably good cigar which comes in at a very reasonable price - even after I was stung by UK customs. I would give this cigar a score of 93. Loved it!
- Edward Williams 8/1/21Very good even burn plus a smooth draw especially with a double v cut, typical spicy earthy taste, a good 2 hour smoke not for the faint hearted
- Otrevo 7/26/21These are a great smoke. At the price they are really great value compared to a comparable Cuban. Tasty and packing a punch. A slight unexpected feature is that they are not round but rectangular in profile. Not an issue with the torpedo end means they cut to a normal shape . If you usually ... However the 60 ring gauge packs a lot of tobacco and with an even slow burn they are still good for over an hour . The cigars exhibit excellent depths with a complex full flavour. People reviewing often use " chocolate " as a descriptor . With this cigar i begin to see why. The oily maduro wrapper is a joy in the hand . A really really good smoke

I will happily be placing another order soon for some R&J short Churchills. Great work guys at online-cigars!!
