The latest cigar in the Montecristo Open range, the Montecristo Open Slam. Cigars in the Open line were first marketed by Habanos to be “enjoyed al fresco,” with emphasis on the outdoor sporting life. 

The cigar’s dimensions are unusual: it’s a 52 ring gauge by 142 mm in length, which works out to about 5 3/5 inches long. (Other sources have called it 5 5/8 inches long, which works out closer to 143 millimeters.) Cuba says the Slam is unique to the Habanos portfolio.
