History of Davidoff 

Davidoff cigars have a rich history that dates back to the early 20th century. The brand was founded by Zino Davidoff, a visionary in the world of tobacco who was born into a family with a deep appreciation for quality cigars.

Zino's journey in the cigar industry began in Geneva, Switzerland, where he learned the art of cigar making and developed a keen sense for high-quality tobacco.

His excellence led him to Cuba, where he started bringing his vision to life. Crafted under his supervision, these cigars became renowned for their impeccable quality and rich aroma.

However, in the early 1990s, due to differences in vision with the Cuban government, Zino publicly burned over 100,000 cigars that didn't meet his stringent quality standards, marking an end to that legendary Cuban era.

Following this dramatic shift, Davidoff moved its production to the Dominican Republic. Since then, Davidoff cigars and the Dominican Republic have become synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship.
