Originally brought in as a lighter alternative to Montecristo exclusively for the French cigar market in the 1970sthis medium bodied torpedo is a lovely cigarand a personal favourite of mine. Sadlythe only smoke that Diplomatico are currently producingas it isin my opinionone of the best Piramides in production. Only marginally milder than the Montecristo baring the same namethis cigar balances spicysweetand savoury notes wonderfully throughout. It's effortless drawand light finishmake it virtually unputdownable. A must tryand a classic in it's own right.
