As Metallica’s James Hetfield puts it, S84 is “a celebration of passion and a tribute to the craftsman who strives for excellence.” The second release in the collaboration between Hetfield, Master Distiller Rob Dietrich, and our founder Jonathan Drew Sann, Blackened S84 keeps the dark Maduro core of M81 but swaps the wrapper for an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade. The result is a velvety smooth experience, a pioneer of two worlds. Backed by a devout, chocolatey choir, the Blackened S84 weaves creaminess and slight spice over layers and layers of smooth flavor.
